Q. Should my makeup colors match my outfit?
A. It makes sense that you relate the colors of your makeup to those of your clothing, to create an elegant "look" and show off your sense of style. That does not mean you have to match them exactly. As a matter of fact, it's more current and attractive to stick to color families. Keep warm tones together, and cool tones together as well. Then you can start improvising within these groups. Try perhaps a bit of contrast such as muted shades of eyeshadow combined with a vivid lipstick, or neutral colors combined with bright ones. If you're wondering what makeup you should wear with a red dress -- as many women are -- my suggestion is neutral eyes and neutral lips.
